Andre A. Alers

Andre A. Alers was born in the Bronx, New York, graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School. Directly out of high school, he joined the United States Navy and served as a nuclear mechanical operator on a fast attack submarine. After his service in the Navy, Mr. Alers attended the University of Houston in Houston, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude in Political Science with a minor in Economics.

Mr. Alers then graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2011 where he clerked for the Honorable Marc Carter in the 228th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Mr. Alers assisted Judge Carter in presiding over the Veteran's Court.

Upon completion of law school and admission into the Texas Bar, Mr. Alers founded a general litigation firm, The Law Office of Andre A. Alers, PLLC. In solo practice, Mr. Alers represented individual and corporate clients in litigation and transactional matters throughout the Houston metro area. Additionally, Mr. Alers served as a title officer and in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 escrow and title company focusing on real estate related and title matters.

Mr. Alers is a Senior Associate at Tom Petrus & Miller, LLLC. In addition to being admitted to practice law in Texas, he is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and admitted to practice before all state courts in the State of Hawaii.
